Dragging my feet to the door, as if there were two metal weights chained to my ankle. 'Finally Home!' I thought. The key seemed to shine like gold when I finally dug it out of my pocket, it was the key to 'heaven'. Inserting the key to the 'treasure box', I suddenly heard an unfamiliar sound. A gentle, soothing, and innocent sound, so lovable that I brushed the thought aside thinking that I was dreaming.

The key and the treasure box fit like jigsaw puzzles, Heaven is within my reach, my wonderful sofa...

I opened the door, and i heard that angelic sound once again. But this time I was sure i was not dreaming. Accompanying that cute soothing sound, was a ball of golden brown fur, with a feather duster that would never seem to stop swagging. It then came to my realization that the 'sound' i heard was not just a 'sound'. It was a bark. A bark so cute and pure, that it surged a thousand-watt smile onto my school stricken face. It was the first time i set eyes on her, my beautiful Toffee.

Context: Global Warming has been an issue that haunts environmentalists all around the world. drastic measures have been carried out to deal with Global Warming in countries like the USA and Australia in the "Geneva Protocol". But Singapore, a 'First World' country, also contributing much to the emission of Greenhouse gases into the atmosphere due to the titanic amount of waste and poisonous exhaust gas from vehicles, is not doing anything to curb the issue on Global Warming. Why?..


Good Morning Mr President, Mr Bentwy, ladies and gentlemen. As we all know, the Earth's temperature and the sea levels have been rising gradually for the past century since industrialisation began. Extreme climatic conditions, like floods is an every day thing on the news nowadays, so much that the people in Singapore are not much affected by this catastrophy that puts the lives of people all over the world in peril. Global Warming is a silent killer, viciously murdering mother earth, mercilessly taking away all life that stands in it way.

Therefore I propose that Singapore start a campaigh against Global Warming, for a future that struggles to be one.

Global warming, we know we caused it, exhaust gases emitted from cartons of rubbish incinerated everyday, resulted in millions of tons of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere, thickening the atmosphere, which traps more heat, leading to the rise of global temperature.

Why aren't we doing anything in Singapore even though we know that this is happening? No drastic measures were taken. This atrocity shall not persist! From today, we will fight for a future, a greener future, or there might just be none for us.

It will be grave if insolent people do not heed the warnings of Global Warming. We must control ourselves, or global warming will be controlling the fate of the supposedly super intelligent mammals. Let us unite, and create a cleaner, better, less polluted Singapore, lets take this little step, to save the Earth. May it be just recycling paper, or cycling to school. Offing the television when not in use, or ceasing to use the computer. All we need, is your support, the people's support, or else...

There will be no white snowy Alps.
There will be no icebergs left in the Antartica.
There will be no more polar bears, no penguins left on this Earth.
There will be no beautiful glaciers.
There will be no ski resorts, or even snow.
There will be no more low lying countries like Thailand.
And there will be no more us, humans, the superior species in the world.

If nothing is done to save the Earth, OUR Earth.

HELLO MR TAN!

Michael Jordan, towering 6 ft 6, ( 1.98M), weighing 98kg. This shooting guard, number 23 from Chicago Bulls, is named the greatest basketball player that ever walked this earth. He quoted, "I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."







Jordan, got his nickname, "His Airness", "AirJordan" and the G.O.A.T, the Greatest of all Time, when he did a Free Throw Dunk during a slamdunk contest. His shoe, AirJordan, is a bighit in the market and many basketballers around the would love to buy his shoe to wear. He has also acted in the show Space Jam, which is the time i really got to know who was Michael Jordan, he is the Man that can dunk from halfcourt. haha

Michael Jordan, the greatest player ever, won the NBA's most vaulable player award five times, he had led the Chicago Bulls to the league championship 6 times. This crazy player led the Bulls to the League championship in 1991, 1992, and 1993. And went to play professional baseball as he claimed that he always wanted to play baseball since young. He gave up baseball and continued his Basketball career in Chicago in 1996, 1997 and 1998. He was the star player in his team, with his "sidekicks" Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, they led the Bulls to being the lead Championship in his return. He was the best player, with the highest scoring record of 33.4 points per game in the playoffs. He is one of the best defensive players in the league and has made it into the nba defensive first team nine times. And was even named the NBA Best Defensive Player of the year.




Now for some history on Mike's early days.

When he was in High School, he was not towering, and was only 1.80M. I SAY ONLY! What the hell? HE IS ONLY 1.80 and mr tan, how tall are u? BUT, after 1 year, he freaking grew by 10 cm. like WOW. He was 17 and he grew by 10 cm, and before he knew it, he could kiss the the rim. He trained rigorously and finally got into the varsity team. He managed to average 25 points per game, and he freaking averaged a TRIPLE DOUBLE when he was a senior. Ask me what is triple double i you do not understand.
He then finally got drafted into NBA as the 3rd overall pick. Gaining fans support even from opposing teams. He, as a rookie, appeared on a sports magazine, quoting "A Star Is Born". He was also voted into the NBA all-star in his rookie year. But no one passed the ball to him, but Mike was not much affected, as they were jealous of him. And continued to have a fruitful season.

Michael Jordan totaled 6 Finals MVP, earning a MVP every time they won the championship. He was the G.O.A.T, the greatest basketball player that ever lived. But without his teammates, he would not have won all the championships in his career.

Michael Jordan has many famous quotes, some that i find really inspiring and some that applies to me as well! here are they...

Capital Punishment..

what do i have to say about this topic?
hmm... from what i can see, i think CP isnt really necessary in today's world. I strongly believe in *more can be done alive than dead* don't u think so too?
instead of sending the convict to hell or heaven, up to you.. dont u think that it will be more sensible to sentence the person to life imprisonment and make them do corrective work? make them wrap chocalates or something! anything! let them still have a chance to pay-back to society, instead of just taking away their lives, we can let them stay in prison, and let them repent, or hope that they do.

i dont have much to write about this topic.. the main reason is that i feel very guilty for not posting this up for like.. almost a month already?

SORRY MR TAN! so heres my post. i dont have much to write.
frankly, if u give me a topic that i would feel more for, i will definitely write more for you. i think my english kinda sucks. please be more lenient with me compos and blahblah. thanku!

so ya, back to the point. i think capital punishment is RATHER barbaric as it sucks seeing people on the electric chair. it sucks. watching it as a passerby is sucky enough. I CANT imagine if it was my loved on or my friend on that fishy chair. its just cruel, so it is my stand, that it is not necessary.

i think, we should tackle the root of the problem.. why do people wanna kill in the first place instead of what to do with those who killed. HOR?

i think it is more of the country's problem. welfare society and ours is so different. i think thats the case. how about u mrtan? or anyone reading this.. what do YOU THINK?

HELLO!!

Haha! Hello Mr Tan, i know this is very very very overdue.. haha, but at least i am doing it right? better than nothing la hor? dont minus marks ok? ^^

ok.. today, is about My Music.

MY music.. what is MY music? i have no music, i dont own any, the only music i have? my mouth and my ass? well, i definitely have no music that belongs to ME. its not MY music!

To ME, music belongs to everyone, music is one of the many wonders men have created. I like music, lots of different genres, from pop, rock metal, R&B, certain raps, i also like instrumentals, they are nice when i am in a less hyper mood, but normally cause im pretty hyped up, i dont listen to much instrumental. i do not listen to jazz, cause im not that grown up yet? maybe next time? im more of a happy go lucky person who likes nice happy jumpy pop, rock, rnb! I also like slow sentimental songs, with great nice lyrics of how heartbroken or how fishhhhhed up a person can get in different situations. But for me, fast happy music is more to my liking.

yea, and that was the lyrics for that, i can call a very well described situation of a guy when he goes clubbing. i can picture everything in the lyrics,( I could feel my body yearning The room just started turning Didn't want to go out on the floor But this girl was so determined I was sweatin' just a little ) haha, this shoes how horny the guy was and how good girls are at getting guys all horny and guys just cant seem to resist temptation when they are horny yea? ><

ok, yea, i like this song cause it has this nice beat and its fast, no vulgarities so i can blast it infront of my parents and ya, wonderful lyrics of how clubbing should be. Its a RnB song and not chinese, so its not about love love love and more love or no love the guy is, but it is more about people slightly older than me, more for the modern mind. people go clubbing and this song would be nice as they can even better picture the scene in their minds, im sure many people like to dance to this song. provided if they can dance?

and ya, music, its a great thing. when poeple are down, music is always there to sooth one's feelings or when a guy is hyper, music will never fail to liven up the atmosphere. personally, i use music to relax and study. although i think i study better without music, but its always nice to have music to keep myself calm and prevent me from losing my mind while staring at the irritatingly think textbook i have. yucks!
i listen to music when im sad, bored, going to bed, happy, very happy, any reasons!
im sure everyone listens to music, unless they're deaf. Im not, so i listen to it whenever i can, in case i get deaf one day and migt cry to deaf cause music will forever be loss in my life if that happens. gosh. THAT SUCKS!

im posting this on the last day of term 1 >< going to study geog afterwards, taking a break now, from 2 chaps of maths and 2 chaps of geog, im done with maths and left with half of geog, taking a break now so i decided to post on this. so GUAI right? i chose to blog durng my break time. And look at the time, its 10.30!

i better have better grades for this post as i have never ever posted such a long post before, but no doubt i feels great to finally get this burden off me. ok, getting more and more no link to the topic..

ok! back to the subject.
MY music.. disagrees to these term although i know very well what it means, but yes, there is no such thing as MY music, unless i fart or shout out some vulgarities that i created?
to me, music is something for everyone, something to share, something wonderful, and we must thanks our cells for giving us ears. thank the sperm and the egg that made us! THANKU!

HELLO!!!

I know i am alittle late with my first assignment, but yea, better late than never, hope this still counts?

ok.. i have no idea on what to blog about.. nothing special has happened to me recently.. just that i went to stay in a hotel on saturday night. it was hotel continental or intercontinental? I DONT KNOW! all i know is that the hotel is situated right smack in the middle of bugis. I think thats cool, walk out and u can start shopping! haha, and for some reason i had not realize that there was this hotel in bugis until yesterday? gosh, i'm slow..

so yah, stayed there for fun, i dont know why my dad got a room there, but yea, its a nice hotel, very... highclass i can say, the room is kinda big, above average.. haha, big big toilet, and a nice flatscreen television, yucks, im jealous. and yea, their meals are all buffet style, very nice food, lots of fruits, lots of bacon for breakfast. hahha. went for a swim today morning after having a delicious breakfast, and dammit, the water is freaking cold. with strong winds, i was shivering more than swimming.. even the spa is cold ><

ok.. then i went home, read my history, and took a nap. now im infront of the computer, blogging about something i should have blogged 7 days before. =P but if i did blog 7 days before, i would not have been blogging about what i am blogging right now! anyway.. enough about today and how reluctant i am to blogwhen i have no mood to. since i have the mood now, ( typing nonstop helps )

i shall blog about the past week! the past week was very tiring, basketball, and studies. i can't understand Amath very well, i like the way my chinese teacher is handling the class, i think i am so going to screw my physics up because i practically dont catch my teacher's balls.. i think english is still the same, i do not know what to do with this subject, i think chemistry is still OK, history interesting but i just cant seem to remember much, haven started to anyway, i think i am going to do badly for geog, and i still love PE =]

haha, i had 2 games the past week, very very very slow because the netballers have already finished their 1st round when i still have one more game on thursday, it will be against Coral Sec and i think it will, SHOULD be a breeze. =P and haha, thrashed broadrick 107 to 15 on the most recent game, its mainly because they kinda suck, and i feel wuite bad after seeing Broadrick's coach's face. =P

HAHA! my dog is biting her leash ( how to spell? ) for duno wad reason now, guess she just hates being leashed up bah. hahhaa! ok.. i do not know what to blog about le.. oh ya, and i just got myself a Amath tuition, haha, at whitesands >< dammit, there goes my friday evening. HAHA =P
